Somebody call Penelope Featherington because Season 2 of Bridgerton just dropped on Netflix, and the major Regency-era fashion vibes are immaculate. We’re talking opera gloves, empire-waist dresses, opulent gowns, corsets that cost more than a month’s rent in New York City, all the extravagant headpieces our little hearts could dream of and more.
The period drama series is based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling novels. Its first season hit Netflix on Christmas Day in 2020, making Bridgerton one of the ultimate holiday gifts to humanity. I mean, who else obsessively binge-watched Season 1 of the series and then tried to simultaneously google “Regé-Jean Page” and “puff sleeve dresses”? Between the steamy NSFW scenes and the most irresistible gowns known to man, it’s safe to say that we’re obsessed with the series and couldn’t wait for Season 2.
